I will dominate 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.

Former twice world boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Mindset

"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Civil Exchange

In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
